Bathroom Etiquette

I was in the men's room today and I saw someone I knew. I wanted to say hi, but when I got to thinking about it I thought that might be a little weird. I dunno if the ladies know this, or if they have a set of their own, but guys sort of have these unspoken rules while in the bathroom. So that got me thinking... What are they exactly?

1. Never take the urinal directly next to someone who is already peeing. If necessary you may have to wait in line until a spot opens up where there is this "buffer". There is however an exception to the rule. For whatever reason it is acceptable to use the urinal directly next to someone when you are at a sporting event or movie theater. I think this is because you don't want to miss the action. Not really sure though.

2. No speaking to another person unless you are on "equal ground". This means that you have to be doing the same action in order to talk to someone. Whether it be both peeing, both waiting in line, or both washing your hands. Its just kinda weird for someone to be talking over their shoulder to someone waiting in line while they're peeing, especially if they didn't see you enter the bathroom and they have to try to look over their shoulder (this can cause quite the mess if you're not careful lol).

3. No tying your shoes while in the bathroom. You might be thinking why is that? But most bathrooms are fairly small. If you bend down to tie your shoe you will either unintentionally get a peek at someone, or be mistaken for trying to.

Those are all I could really think of right now. Lol
